After spending time with friends and family at our annual Thanksgiving feasts, we reflect on all that we have to be grateful for.  The Derwin family is thankful for our friends, customers, employees, and community that have made Litchfield such a wonderful place to raise our children and operate our family owned business over the past 25 years.

Emily Dalton, founder of Jack Black Skincare, is a perfect example of why we love Litchfield so much.  Emily not only runs one of the world's premier men's grooming line, but also chairs the Oliver Wolcott Library's annual Festival of Trees Gala.

Emily is pictured wearing a Gimos suede shearling coat with fur trim over a Hawick cashmere scoop neck dress, with a ruby red ostrich belt.  Her scarf was made by twisting a Rani Arabella cashmere and silk scarf with a wool chalet print scarf, both made in Italy.  Her Dorado Riding boots are made by Frye.

The OWL library's catalog of more 150,000 items is housed in the Oliver Wolcott Jr. House, built in 1799 by Elijah Wadworth.  The library's mid-century modern addition, where Emily is pictured below, was designed by architect Eliot Noyes of the famed Harvard five.  Emily has selected a book on the "Art of Jewelry", which appropriately complements her selection of vintage jewelry on loan from Lawrence Jeffrey Estate Jewelers, located on the historic Litchfield Town Green.

The art deco diamond and pearl platinum bracelet, 14k diamond fashion ring, and diamond and ruby set house broach are all c1920-30s American.  Her Pederzani diamond-set leaf earrings are c1960s Italy.  The moonstone and diamond  platinum ring is from the Alchemy collection by Lawrence Jeffrey, original element c1880s.

R. Derwin Clothiers is proud to carry Jack Black as our exclusive men's skincare line.  Pictured below are two of our favorite colognes, "JB" and "Blue Mark", as well as, the three components of Emily's secret "skincare cocktail".

"Wash thoroughly with the Pure Clean Daily Facial Cleanser.  Place 3 pumps of Double-Duty Moisturizer in the palm of your hand and add in 3 pumps of the Skin Serum.  Mix together and apply to your face.  It is an amazing skin care cocktail  – a super easy, convenient way to get soothing  hydration, sun protection and potent anti-aging, in one easy step."
